Toulouse v Troyes Ligue 1 match postponed amid unrest in France
The LFP moved Saturday's Toulouse-Troyes fixture to Sunday at the request of the local prefecture, as nationwide unrest over living costs continued.

The Ligue de Football Professionnel postponed Toulouse's Ligue 1 match against Troyes, originally scheduled for Saturday 24 October, moving it to Sunday 25 October at 5:15pm local time, Asharq Al-Awsat reported.
The LFP said the move came at the request of the Haute-Garonne Prefecture and in agreement with the Ligue1+ broadcaster, according to Asharq Al-Awsat.
The Haute-Garonne prefecture said that, although the match was not considered high-risk, organising an event with such a large turnout requires security forces and municipal police personnel, France 24 reported.
France saw some of its worst unrest in years in October 2026 over high prices and declining public services, with thousands arrested and shops looted or damaged, and Toulouse introduced an overnight curfew in parts of the city, Asharq Al-Awsat said. Marseille and Lille said their official club stores were looted, according to the report.
